About

Bridging language and culture, one conversation at a time

Aria holds a BA in Communication and Media from the University of Athens, Greece, and an MA in International Relations and Foreign Policy Analysis. She went on to study Spanish language and literature at the Instituto Cervantes of New York, then trained formally in medical interpreting and federal court interpreting at the Medical Interpreting Training School.

Over 13 years, she has built a practice grounded in precision and cultural sensitivity — combining strong linguistic skill with a deep awareness of the medical, social and cultural context that shapes every conversation she interprets. Her work has included interpreting and translation assignments for the U.S. Department of Justice and the Internal Revenue Service.

A native Greek speaker, Aria is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian, and works across over-the-phone interpreting, video remote interpreting (VRI), sight translation and on-site interpretation.
